The new Twilight movie, New Moon, is really popular right now. But should you, err, "sink your teeth" into this one?

Judging from reviews at CT Movies and Plugged In, it sounds like a bad apple. Even if you're not too interested in Twilight, I'd encourage you to read these reviews, since so many people (especially teen females) are engaging with this story nowadays.

Well, this is a devo thought that I brought to tonight's meeting. This shows you why in TIGS we're teaching through a series loosely based on J.I. Packer's book Knowing God: we love God, and we want you to be in awe of Him and to love Him and trust Him.

And this leads to a question: When you come to TIGS, what's the main attraction? Is it the games? Is it the wonderful ;) sponsors? Is it the friends?

Or is it God?

I really want my heart to say along with Asaph,

"Whom have I in heaven but You?
And there is nothing on earth that I desire besides you.
My flesh and my heart may fail,
but God is the strength of my heart and my portion forever."

If your treasure isn't God, then ask God for forgiveness, and ask Him to change your heart. That's what I had to do.
