Why would we be afraid? If a book written by inspired men is not perfect, we should automatically assume the universe looses all meaning? Is the possibility of contradiction really that threatening? If so we should perhaps examine ourselves..
Bible is just a book if you will not believe on its content. BUT if you will believe to the promises of GOD written in the Bible, the word of God will be your guide to become a good person.
Bible will not save you. Only God!
